Reminder to the Jewish Voters in Georgia
In the 1968 election in Georgia, Democrats were worried about the way that Jews would vote because they were originally from the North. A reminder was published in the Constitution about how the Jews should vote. This source was found in, Strangers Within the Gate City: the Jews of Atlanta 1845-1945 from the Library of Congress. https://archive.org/details/StrangersWithinTheGateCityTheJewsOfAtlanta1845-1945/page/n175
"The man of that race, who, after reading the following order, will vote for Grant … becomes the instrument of his own degradation, and is unworthy longer to be called an Israelite."
